Tattoo Removal is a comprehensive process where pulses of light energy are absorbed by the tattoo ink, which is a superficial element in the dermis. This energy causes the ink particles to heat up and shatter into fragments. It is imperative that that your immune system is strong during this time, as your body will require inner health to allow the body to flush these ink fragments out effectively.
Healing times will vary according to several factors, such as your bodies ability to heal itself, the pace at which it flushes the ink out of your system, the size of the tattoo and the age of the tattoo. The skins discomfort generally subsides a week after the treatment and will only be fully healed several weeks after the treatment.
It is recommended to allow a minimum of six weeks before scheduling your next appointment.
